我听说过有关人格的这么一个故事：有一个秋天，北大新学期开始了，一个外地来的学子背着大包小包走进了校园，实在太累了，就把包放在路边。
这时正好一位老人走来，年轻学子就拜托老人替自己看一下包，而自己则轻装去办入学手续。
老人爽快地答应。
近一个小时过去，学子归来，老人还在尽职尽责地看守。
谢过老人，两人分别！几日后是北大的开学典礼，这位年轻的学子惊讶地发现，主席台上就坐的北大副校长季羡林正是那一天替自己看行李的老人。
我不知道这位学子当时是一种怎样的心情，但在我听过这个故事之后却强烈地感觉到：人格才是最高的学位。

艺术创作必定是无力的、苍白的、没有灵性的。
所以，我们只有拥有“好成绩、健全的人格”才配拥有“最高得学位”。
历史的车轮碾过，人格缺失却显赫一时的迁客骚人。
政坛精英早以跌落尘埃。
唯有取得了人格——这一最高“学位”的人，才被载入不朽的史册。
人格是人之魂，是任何东西无法替代的，唯有在人生这一课堂上，经过历练和不懈的追求，才可以取得这样高的“学位”。
